Rega Saturn MK3 CD player with integrated DAC

The new Saturn MK3 is housed in the new generation Rega cabinet design and offers complete flexibility and integration into any audio system.

It combines the drive capabilities of Rega's flagship ISIS CD player with an integrated but completely independent DAC converter. Both are fully controllable via the included Solaris remote control.

The Saturn MK3 uses Rega's proven digital-to-analog converter and analog output amplifier technology in conjunction with two Wolfson WM8742 digital-to-analog converter ICs. The technology incorporates highly stable master clocks and a high-capacity power supply in the circuit. A powerful PLL digital interface receiver ensures safe and stable operation.

The signal switching between the CD and DAC functions is carried out in the digital-to-analog converter stage. The signal path in the CD section has been kept to a minimum.

The DAC USB input has been improved to operate asynchronously at sampling rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz with a bit rate of up to 24 bits. The USB input has the same galvanic isolation as the Rega DAC-R.

The USB uses special drivers on your computer that eliminate signal degradation caused by generic Windows drivers.
