Cobra-Horn 2 is a floor-standing loudspeaker with a broadband loudspeaker. Cobra-Horn 2 is a horn loudspeaker with a back-loaded hyperbolic horn with a chassis from Tang Band. The loudspeaker was developed by Bernd Timmermanns. The crossover consists of a blocking circuit for mid-range reduction. The frequency response is balanced. The decay spectrum (waterfall diagram) is exemplary for a broadband loudspeaker. It shows a rapid decay of all resonances. The non-linear distortions are less than 1% above 100 Hz at 90 dB (1m) sound pressure.

The high-end kit is equipped with a foil coil to reduce the microphonic effect (the current through the coil generates a magnetic field, which in turn sets the winding in motion. This movement induces voltages in the coil, which are added to the useful signal. The tighter the winding of the coil, the less the useful signal is distorted.) The capacitor for the broadband speaker is a Mundorf Supreme silver/oil capacitor.
