Kit with high-end crossover without housing price per speaker

A small Scan Speak broadband speaker inspired the Hobby HiFi editorial team to create a broadband system with bass support, known as Fullrange and Subwoofer Technology (FAST). The name of the system was therefore quickly found: Scan FAST. Bernd Timmermanns uses the Scan Speak 10F/8424G00 broadband speaker, which is also called the 10WB0824G in Germany. This is supported in the bass by the 26 cm Scan Speak 26W/8534G00 woofer. Both are separated by a 2nd order crossover (12 dB/octave slope).

Our high-end version uses ClarityCap capacitors, Mundorf EVO capacitors (which can be connected in parallel) and vacuum-impregnated coils and baked enamel coils.
