Elysion is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker. Elysion is a dipole loudspeaker with chassis from Mundorf and ScanSpeak. The loudspeaker contains the following loudspeaker chassis: - an air motion transformer (ribbon tweeter) Mundorf AMT25D6.1-R - a mid-woofer ScanSpeak 21WE/4542T00 The loudspeaker was developed by Bernd Timmermanns. The crossover consists of: - a 2nd order high pass (12 dB / octave) for the tweeter, with a blocking circuit connected in series. - a 2nd order low pass (12 dB / octave) for the mid-woofer. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is perfectly linear. The decay spectrum is practically flawless. The non-linear distortions remain almost consistently below 1% at 90 dB (1m) above 50 Hz.
