Sculptor active is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker. Sculptor active is a closed loudspeaker with chassis from Audaphon and Wavecor. The loudspeaker contains the following loudspeaker chassis: - a ribbon tweeter Audaphon APR 1.0 - two midrange speakers Wavecor WF152CU14 - four woofers Wavecor SW223BD02. The crossover consists of: - a 3rd order high pass (18 dB / octave) for the tweeter. - a band pass consisting of a 2nd order high pass (12 dB / octave) and a 3rd order low pass (18 dB / octave) for the midrange woofer. - a 2nd order low pass (12 dB / octave) for the woofer. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is perfectly linear. The decay spectrum is almost flawless. The non-linear distortions at low volumes (85 dB, 1 m) are below 0.3% above 500 Hz and remain below 0.4% in the audible range even at higher levels (95 dB, 1 m). At low levels (85 dB, 1 m), Sculptor even shows exceptionally low distortions in the frequency range from 600 Hz onwards, almost consistently not exceeding 0.1%, which is absolutely top class.
